Jan Blizničenko followed up on his Master thesis and presented Kendrick epidemiological modeling on top of our OpenPonk platform. (presentation, paper)

Peter Uhnák presented an approach generating instance models for running systems, and live visualization and debugging of object structures. (presentation, paper).

NS Summer School ’17

Following our collaboration with the University of Antwerp (see our older post), two members of our research group, Marek Suchánek and Peter Uhnák, participated in the Normalized Systems Summer School 2017 in Antwerp. During this very exciting event they learned how to design, analyze, create and customize Normalized Systems and worked on their own projects related to the NS theory and tooling, specifically about visualization, evolvable documents and conceptual modelling. Together with Dr. Robert Pergl, prof. Jan Verelst and prof. Herwig Mannaert they also discussed further broadening and intensifying of the collaboration between CCMi & FIT CTU in Prague, the NSX spin-off and also Faculty of Applied Economics – the largest faculty of the University of Antwerp.

This opens new prospects of  interesting theses topics, research projects and other challenging opportunities. We want to repeat NS Summer School with more students again the next year, as well as to improve and deepen our collaboration continually over time.
