As part of our developing cooperation with the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and NSX spin-off that applies the Normalized Systems theory in practice, our PhD students Marek Suchánek, Jan Slifka, and Vojtěch Knaisl again attended the summer school. During the August they worked with experts (including our graduate Peter Uhnák, who is employed at NSX) and professors directly at NSX near Antwerp on their research topics.
Marek continued his work on the topic “Normalized Systems Gateway Ontology for Conceptual Models”, which is the first for the new Double-Degree program between our universities and about which you could read about the CTU website or server novinky.cz (czech only). Jan focused on his topic in which he applies NS theory to the design and creation of a user interface. Vojta area is then evolvable documents and their generation.
