Ing. Martin Molhanec, CSc.

Martin Molhanec, M.Sc., Ph.D., is an assistant professor at Department of e-Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.  At present he gives lectures on Architecture of Software Systems, Software Project Management, Technology Project Management and Analyses and Design of Web Information Systems. He has supervised more than hundred bachelor and master theses.

His research interests now includes conceptual, object and data modelling, ontologies, project management, risk management, software engineering and applied informatics. He publishes over 60 papers on local or international conferences, for example ISSE, EOMAS, HAICTA and ISD among others. He is a member of the programme committees of local and international conferences, namely EOMAS, CT and WESOA. He also regularly (starting from 2005 year) gives lectures at Summer School of R.E.S. at Patras, Greece.

He has participated at some research projects supported by Czech Science Foundation or Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, for example “Development, Reliability and Safety of Electric Power Systems”, “The Ontology based FMEA of Lead Free Soldering Process”, “Diagnostics of photovoltaic systems”, “Decision making and Control for Manufacturing” and “Methodological Framework for Continuous Model-Driven Engineering in specific Software Application Development”. Next, he worked as an analysts and consultant for some commercial projects led by Czech software companies. Finally, he is a member of Technical Committee TNK 42 for Data Exchange of Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing.
